PLAN OF SALVATION

SALVATION IS  A FACT

Salvation rests upon the absolute certainty of God’s Word – the Bible.  We are saved by simply tking god at His Word. God offers sinners all the benefits of salvation on the condition that we believe in Him and accept Him as our Savious.

John3:16

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only befotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everylasting life”

John 1:12

“But to as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the son of God, even to them that believe on His name.”

John 14:6

“Jesus saith unto him. I am the way, the truth, and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”.

WHAT MOST I DO TO BE SAVED

What must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved and they house”.  Acts 16:30-31

SALVATION IS A NEW LIFE

Salvation is not “turning a new leaf”.  Salvation is a new nature. God’s nature living in us.  Jesus Christ wants to live His life in and through us.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things have passed away; and behold all things are become one.”  2 Corinthians 5:17

SALVATION IS GOD WORKING IN US

There is absolutely nothing we can do past or present that would be good enough for us to merit eternal life.

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us”.

Titus 3:5

SALVATION IS GOD’S GIFT TO US

We cannot earn or meit it.  God freely gives it to us for Christ sake.  All we have to do is accept it and take it as a free gift from God.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any many should boast”.

Ephesians 2:8-9

“For the wages of sin is death;, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”.

 Romans 6:23

Salvation is through the shed blood of Christ on Calvary.

Neither is there salvation in any other (Than Jesus Christ): for there is none other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved”.

Acts4:12
